What do Micro:bits Have to do with Conserving Water?
Limited Capacity seats available

Are you looking for ways to incorporate coding into your life or Earth science courses?  In this hands-on workshop participants will write code, and utilize micro:bits to create a soil moisture probe and an automatic watering robot.  After reviewing micro:bits basics, we will use everyday material, iron nails and mini servos (DC motors) to build and test the device.  While this is not an advanced session, it is ideal if participants have basic knowledge of block or JavaScript coding and/or previous experience with micro:bits.
Participants must bring their own device.
