In an era of fake news, clickbait, and information overload, how are students to sift through the endless stream of noise to become informed citizens? In this session, we will discuss some of the strategies that you can use with your students to help them develop these skills for the information age and help guide them to becoming those informed citizens. We will be discussing what it means to be Media Literate and how the skills that they learn for research and evaluation translate to the digital world.
